Room size: The measurements of your room will determine how much energy you'll need to keep it cool. Smaller rooms generally require a 2-2.5kW unit, while larger rooms need 4-6kW air conditioners to keep cool.
Insulation: If your ceiling or floor is insulated, it will be more thermally efficient and you won't need as powerful a unit.
